Visually Driven Design
A core element of the design direction was the strategic use of strong, high-resolution imagery (often 5 MB+ preferred by Sentech) to visually communicate Sentech's complex projects and capabilities. This required specialized optimization techniques to maintain performance.

Strategic Branding & Mood Board
We collaborated with Sentech to gather comprehensive branding guidelines (colors, fonts). Nick Erasmus led the creation of a detailed mood board, a crucial visual tool that defined the website's aesthetic and ensured deep alignment with Sentech's established identity and desired modern appeal.
Content-First Organization
We emphasized a systematic, page-by-page content organization.

This disciplined approach was fundamental for an efficient design process, ensuring intuitive site architecture and clear user paths through their diverse services and projects.

Iterative Design & Review
Our process involved a critical wireframe review phase to establish the website's foundational structure ("skeleton") before proceeding to detailed UI design.

This allowed for key client approvals from stakeholders like Alfonso, minimizing potential changes in later, more costly stages. 

The full workflow encompassed wireframe review, UI design review, development, QA, and final deployment, ensuring precision at each step.
Copy Refinement & Technical Content Translation
Close attention was paid to refining the website's copy, aiming for enhanced clarity and visual appeal. 

Our team's expertise in technical content translation was paramount, transforming complex engineering specifications into accessible, engaging, and visually supported explanations, making their intricate work understandable to a wider audience.


Platform & Tech Stack
The Sentech Architectural Systems website was developed on WordPress, selected for its robust content management capabilities, which facilitate ease of client updates and future scalability. 

This was combined with a custom-built, lightweight theme meticulously optimized for high performance and visual fidelity.

We developed a bespoke project portfolio showcase system. This included dynamic image galleries, intuitive navigation for individual case studies, and dedicated sections to highlight project scope, specific technical challenges overcome, and innovative solutions applied by Sentech.


SEO & Mobile Responsiveness
Comprehensive on-page SEO optimization was implemented, including strategic keyword integration, schema markup for project details, and a clean site structure to enhance search engine crawlability. A critical design and development focus was full mobile responsiveness.  Given the site's reliance on high-resolution imagery, we employed adaptive image loading techniques (e.g., lazy loading, responsive image tags) and a fluid grid system to ensure optimal viewing and performance across all devices, preventing Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS).
